I still think that people who buy used games will end up paying the same, the $10 will be coming from the stores profits and lower trade in value for games.
Move hasn't really impressed me but i am interested in it.
What did impress me was what Rob Dyer(SCEA) said when asked:
"I would assume that people are coming with games for Move which lead on Wii. They want to get them on your platform. Is there a problem?
RD: If it's day and date. If it's day and date, we'll work with them on it. If it's a port, then we'll move it a step, to the network. Unless it's somethin...
It's more then likely that consumers will end up paying the same, the money will most likely come from lower trade ins and also lower profits for resellers.
Example: you buy a brand new game for $60, a week lately trade it in for $30, but now instead of $30 you get $25.
Announcing that they will copy Activision and release a $15 map pack for LP2.
Aww, you wasted the opportunity to have the title as "PSP2 Confirmed for Fall 2010 Release!".
Just another stupid thing that happens down here in prude town.
This will surely slowdown flights, also what if you are carrying sensitive information? they can just go ahead and look at it? full of shit.
It is impossible to stop people bringing in digital pornography, i can't see this lasting long, just another idiotic way to waste money.
I wonder how well this will end up fairing against its PS3 counterpart.
Well said, they are to concerned with 'westernizing' their games that they let the quality slip, square needs to stop looking at this as a business and go back to just making the best games that they can make, business has been getting in the way of their work for years now.
How hard can it be to make a character that isn't juiced up on roids but at the same time not completely missing the Y chromosome.
There is more then 2 choices you stupid f***s, it can't be that hard to figure that out.
Lackluster numbers all round, the most suprising is the Wii, under 20k wtf?
That one blindsided me, i had a great laugh +bubs.
I have a question,
Why is it good for them to go multiplat with versus? the only answer i can think of is for more potential sales.
When it comes to game quality, sales have no part in it.
What potential benefits(besides what i mentioned) does going multiplat give? i can only think of potential negatives like: fitting the game onto multiple DVDs which still end up with less overall space, also the disc swapping that comes with it, it's a ...
Square enix without nomura? i can only hope, with the way square are going if he quits and makes his own studio then i can completely ignore all future SE releases.
RIP - Squaresoft
Sony should steal Nomura and give him his own studio (first party of course).
This gen sony have turned from the RPG metropolis to the RPG wastelands, there has been a few great RPGs but you could count those on one hand and let's not forget that none of them are first party.
$199 would make the hardware disappointing, $249 is a better price, it will allow for a much faster system.
Also the only backwards capabilities i want to see on the PSP2 is for downloadable games ONLY, using UMD would be terrible.
Yeah, where is Tales of Vesperia International Edition? i've heard nothing but praise for that game.
The way i look at this is, for those who have foxtel and an xbox you can set up the xbox in one room and the foxtel box in another and be able to watch foxtel on both without having to pay an extra fee for another foxtel box.
Can't wait for more info at E3.
For the sake of gamers from taiwan i hope they don't go overboard and destroy the industry(in taiwan) by adopting policies more strict then what is currently in place for the majority of countries around the globe.
Having to register to view the article? how did this even get approved?
